'Inspirational' World's Strongest Disabled Man competitor dies after brave battle

A former World's Strongest Disabled Man runner-up has died.

Darran Winfield-Stanesby, 49, was left paralysed by brain condition Ataxia in 2000 and competed in a wheelchair.

Despite this Darran, of Mansfield, dedicated his life to fitness and came second in the World's Strongest Disabled Man competition in 2013.
