Introduction

Rob is a bikini, figure, fitness and bodybuilding competition prep coach, IFBB Pro Physique Champion and body transformation guru, located in San Mateo in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rob’s passion for health and fitness started from an early age and continued to grow and only continued to grow when he started competing in Bodybuilding, the Men’s Physique division. After 3 regional shows and multiple Top 3 finishes, Rob competed in his first National show (Team Universe) in NJ where he placed 3rd, one point away from achieving his IFBB Pro Card. Undeterred, six weeks later, Rob earned his pro card in Aug 2014 at the North American Championships, winning first place in his class. Rob has competed in several IFBB Pro competitions over the past 2 years including winning the Masters division at the Governor’s Cup in Sacramento in 2015. With his many years of experience and certifications in Nutrition/Health Coaching, Rob’s true passion is helping others learn to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. Rob has helped hundreds of people by developing custom Body Transformation programs that include meal and workout plans, supplement recommendations and weekly check-ins to help clients reach their goals. Rob also has a team of athletes that he coaches for NPC competition prep, ranging from Men’s physique to Bikini and Figure competitors. His athletes have won multiple trophies with Top 5 finishes qualifying for Nationals and also Overall titles. He is recognized as one of the Bay Area’s best and San Mateo’s “go-to” coach. He prides himself in a “No Excuse” mentality and being hands on with his clients, helping them each step along the way. I cannot begin to describe the impact Rob Giles and his workout plan has had on me. It has changed my life, my way of thinking, and offered me a different perspective on diet and exercise. Ladies, I had my excuses ready to go! “I don’t want to be muscular, I don’t want to look like a man, I will always be hungry, I’m not trying to lose weight, and I’m already thin, how could this possibly benefit me?” I have never had poor eating habits or struggled with my weight. These are some of the justifications I created in order to delay the start of my program. I began noticing a difference after 2 weeks and I physically saw a difference at day 30. Witnessing the weight fall off and seeing muscle development provided me with motivation to continue. At that point, I wanted to continue to see how much of a transformation I could accomplish. It also became a habit and I was actually eager to go to the gym. I was initially nervous about the workouts, but they are achievable and I’m not in the gym for hours. The diet offers variety, I am never hungry, and it’s consistent with healthy eating, something I should follow regardless of workout. I can speak for hours on this journey and the how I have inspired others around me to achieve similar goals but the bottom line is: You too can do this! I am a wife, mother of 4 boys, work full-time and full-time students so there are no excuses! Rob is fantastic, accessible, experienced, and offers weekly guidance and feedback (he’ll tell you the truth too). What I value most about Rob is when I hit a low point and felt discouraged, he was right there to support me and offer encouragement. It honestly drove me to continue. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their lifestyle.

ve know Rob Giles since 1995 when we both entered the United States Air Force Academy. We've remained in brief contact over the past 20 years, but have increased our the frequency of or correspondence in the past 3 years. I got pretty serious into fitness 5 years into my marriage after gaining a significant amount of weight. It is through exercise and nutrition that @coachrobgiles and I have truly reconnected. I had the opportunity to work with Rob as my coach for my very first bikini competition. Being that it was my first show I had literally no idea where to even being my prep. Thankfully Rob was there every single step of the way. We discuss my goal(s) and come up with the perfect plan to achieve that goal.
