Introduction

Leslie Franklin is a bikini and figure / physique competition prep coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, IFBB Figure Pro, Int'l Elite powerlifter and Team Gorman Co-owner. I love teaching others the importance of good nutrition, supplementation, and working out & training hard. Hearing their stories about how much better their lives are since they began eating right and working out is an amazing feeling knowing that I was a part in their journey to a healthier life. I LOVE helping others reach their goals of stepping on stage and helping them achieve their best bodies ever! I have been an athlete all my life since age 6 when I began gymnastics. I’ve always competed in some kind of sport, starting with gymnastics then track and field, cheerleading, collegiate soccer, 5 K’s, 10 K’s, half marathons, and now one of my passions is Bodybuilding. I have always loved the challenge of improving myself in any sport. I began competing in bodybuilding competitions as a figure competitor in 2007. Since then I have competed in 11 competitions, taking 1st place five times, three 2nd place finishes, and five top 5 placings. What can I say… after my first competition I was hooked. I loved seeing the changes in my body, constantly trying to improve my physique, and stepping on stage showing the world how hard I’ve worked. I also recently began another challenge for myself in the sport of Powerlifting… LOVE IT! This sport is like nothing else. The physical AND mental strength is incredible and has made me a better all around athlete. I don’t only want to LOOK strong, but I want to BE strong for life. I’ve now competed in 4 powerlifting meets, each time bettering myself and beating my last meet records. At my last 2 meets I won the “Best Female Lifter” award! Whoot whoot!!
