Hi, my name is Danny and I am a Sports Nutritionist and Competition Coach. My 10 years of training experience has seen me participate and compete in various sports and disciplines, from rugby, to bodybuilding, and powerlifting. While using this time I have also educated myself on building muscle, getting strong, and effective nutrition strategies. My approach with every client is not just to get them the results they want, but to give them the tools and knowledge they need to eventually be confident in managing their own diet and training. There are no restrictive eating plans and unrealistic targets here, everything I do is tailored specifically to fit in with your lifestyle and goals to make getting results easier, not harder. When I came to Danny I had been going around in circles for a while. I had been struggling to find a balance, between the gym, food, and my social commitments. My relationship with food was bad, and in the gym my strength had stalled. I’d always been into sports and hitting the gym but I found myself in a space I was struggling to come back from. I thought I had tried most approaches until we started working together. I soon learnt the importance of structure, consistency, and having a plan that was completely tailored to me and my lifestyle. My progress in the gym started again, I started getting leaner, and I wasn’t missing out on social occasions with friends. This isn’t to say that the journey was easy. The workouts were challenging, I was pushed to better myself each week. I was kept accountable every week and I learned how to track and manage my food better and how to tailor it towards my own goals. This was new from a coach for me, having someone with me teaching me the hows and whys of his method and approach. Over the last few months I have learned so much about a new approach to diet and training and has fully given me the confidence to continue getting results in the future. Not only did I have a coach with the knowledge, but also one with the experience of getting in peak physical condition, performing at a high level, and understanding my journey from start to finish.
