My thoughts on Amy: 1. You are able to read an individual's personality and determine the best fitness plan. (insightful) 2. You are incredibly knowledgeable including both nutrition and fitness. (Knowledgeable) 3. You are not about fads or gimmicks regarding nutrition and fitness, but hard work. (Sound information) 4. You are an incredibly hard worker and dedicated to your craft. (Great work ethic) 5. You are not judgmental and make you clients feel at ease. (It's probably because you are not a native New Yorker). Don't quote me on that! 6. Enthusiastic! Read more Michelle M.

I have been fit at different times in my life both in my years as a competitive ballroom dancer and in my journey through years of practicing yoga, but this experience, this transformation is different. It's Different because I am now over 50 and with age has come the changes to my metabolism, and the inevitable, complete freakout of my hormones. I was not willing to let myself go down that path of middle age without a fight, and decided to take control of my physical and emotional destiny. All of the early goals that I set for myself, I have already surpassed beyond my expectations because I have been privileged to work with an amazing personal trainer. From the moment I met Amy Llinas Lynch, I knew she was special. Not just special because she is a world champion competitor, not just because she is stunningly beautiful inside and out, and not just because she is a master of fitness training and nutrition. Amy is special because she is intuitive and makes a connection to the deepest part of you. She is a wonderful mix of Southern sweetness and hardcore toughness. Her professionalism and work ethic are second to none. Every time I needed something or had a question or panicked, she was there immediately to guide me with her expertise. She has given me the path to a new journey as a figure competitor myself. I am so grateful to know her and so happy she is there in my corner, pushing me to the next level, pushing me to be the greatest version of myself that I have ever known. Amy Llinas Lynch is an Angel sent down to touch the lives of all who work with her and inspire all who see her. Read more Tunde M.
My first experience training for a figure competition was an amazing physical and mental challenge. You strive to be the best you can be but you realize how strong you really are through endurance and dedication. Anything you want can happen with the right training, diet, faith and most importantly, trainer. I was fortunate to have an incredible trainer, Amy Llinas who knew firsthand what it took to get the physique I desired. Amy designed a diet and training plan for my personal physique needs. When I started training with Amy, it was my goal just to lean my legs down and get in shape for a ½ marathon. After completing my marathon, Amy challenged me again to train for a figure competition. If nothing else, it would get me in the best shape of my life. At my age, 43 yrs young, I decided what the heck and went for it. Over the course of 13 weeks, I worked out on a regimented plan of lifting weights and cardio with Amy calling the shots. I needed to lean out and lose body fat as well as keep the muscle I had gained. I started out at 168 pounds and by the day of my show, I weighed in at 138, which was amazing. To this day, I remember every detail of my show and the best part was I accomplished what I put my mind to. I competed in my first figure show and had a blast. The training was intense and being sore was only part of it. I learned how to train my body and to push past any boundaries of normal training. Intense was a word I learned to incorporate in my training. To realize a dream and be in shape, great shape, was amazing! I owe it to Amy for being patient and guiding me in the right direction. Advice to always remember; visualize your goal, keep a journal , (write down your workouts and food), stay positive and believe in yourself. Drink tons of water, ditch the sodas (even diet drinks) love tuna, eat your veggies, say No to sugar and dairy. Keep it simple. Finding the right trainer is difficult at best but look at the person and listen to what they say. You can always tell who has your best interest at heart and if they are sincere. I was one of the lucky few to train with Amy and I would do it all over again given the opportunity. The changes in my physique were amazing and to this day, I am still in shape and love to train!
